CREATED ESPECIALLY FOR SPECIAL EVENTS MANAGERS IN THE CHARITY SECTOR, OUR LEVEL UP PROGRAMME PROVIDES A UNIQUE OPPORTUNITY TO DEVELOP YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERTISE IN ORDER TO MOVE INTO LEADERSHIP

Taking place over a 4-month period in a small cohort of no more than 8 individuals, we’re excited to offer two programmes:

  • A cohort for those new to events and hoping to develop event management skills (some event experience required)

  • A cohort for senior event managers looking to progress within leadership roles, move into freelance/consultancy or start their own business (minimum of 2 years in an events management role, with sole responsibility for delivering events)

The Level Up programme includes:

  • Three group sessions in-person (March, May, July):

  • Each focusing on key areas of development, with guest speakers from within the industry

  • Interactive approach to crowd-source solutions to current real-life scenarios

  • An opportunity to review your existing event plans and tackle current challenges

  • An informal breakfast to connect with other event managers

  • Plus a celebratory event in September with both cohorts, to reflect on learnings

  • Focused support - You’ll have an initial call with us to identify your specific learning needs, which will help us shape the programme and connect you with a paid, expert mentor

  • One-to-one mentoring - A monthly one hour-long sessions online with a senior mentor from within industry, looking at your specific areas for growth and personal development plan

  • Networking opportunity - A chance to build a network with others on the same journey as you, join the Coveted Event Academy WhatsApp community and attend other Special Events to gain exposure to other sector events
