We’re delighted to announce Pivot’s charity partner, Refuge
Refuge believe that no-one should have to live in fear of violence and abuse. On any given day they supports more than 6,000 clients, helping them rebuild their lives and overcome many different forms of violence and abuse; for example domestic violence, sexual violence, so-called ‘honour’-based violence, human trafficking and modern slavery, and female genital mutilation.
Their services include refuges, support in the community, independent advocacy services, child support workers and the National Domestic Abuse helpline.
We have been inspired by the work of Refuge over the years and when we decided to host Pivot, they were a natural choice as a charity partner. During Covid-19, staying at home increases the risk of domestic abuse for thousands of women and children. So Refuge’s services are needed now more than ever – help them to keep their life-saving services running by supporting their emergency appeal.
50% of all Pivot ticket sales income will go directly to Refuge.
